Our Story

Clean water challenges are growing faster than the infrastructure designed to solve them.

Across North America, municipalities and industrial operators face increasing demands on aging water and wastewater treatment systems. Population growth, stricter regulations, emerging contaminants, and rising operating costs are placing unprecedented pressure on facilities that were often designed decades ago. Replacing or expanding these systems can require hundreds of millions of dollars in capital investment and years of planning and construction.

Flotration Technologies was founded on a simple idea: before building a new system, why not make the existing system perform better?

Our proprietary treatment technologies are designed to improve water quality before it reaches traditional treatment processes, helping operators increase capacity, improve performance, reduce maintenance demands, and extend the useful life of existing infrastructure. By enhancing water quality upstream, Flotration can often help municipalities and industrial facilities defer costly upgrades while improving overall treatment efficiency.

Today, Flotration works at the intersection of water treatment, environmental stewardship, and infrastructure innovation. Our mission is to deliver practical, scalable solutions that help communities and industries meet growing water challenges while maximizing the value of the assets they already own.

As water becomes one of the world’s most critical resources, Flotration remains focused on developing technologies that make existing systems work smarter, last longer, and perform better.
